This is a mural of Chas Jacobs near the Clock Tower in Central Morecambe and he is known for his cheerful local scenes.

Morecambe Bay UK is a charity with many interesting projects. Morecambe Bay PartnershipBirds of the Bay, Love my Beach, Headlands to Headspace, the list goes on. @MorecambeBayUK @_MBAY @LoveMyBeachMBP @H2H_tweets @BirdsoftheBay The organisation arranged a much televised Art Installation at Heysham Headland in September which then moved to Ulverston. By @RobMulholland1 They have commissioned a number of public art projects and keep an eye open.


The Silverdale and Arnside Art and Craft Trail @SAAC_trail  is an annual event in June which has 90 Artists, dozens of venues and thousands or pictures and craft items. Held over 3 days it is a stunning example of what can be done to help artists and crafters. Website


Morecambe Library has regular Art Exhibitions by Local Artists Moecambe Library I have heard that Heysham Library also has them so I expect other Libraries in the Area take part also.

Morecambe Parish Church Memorial Hall. Occasional Art and Crafts Exhibition Memorial Hall We are located in Poulton-le-Sands, the original village from which Morecambe grew. The church building is on Church Street, near Morecambe Police Station.
